Katherine M. M. Lukela

Founding Partner

Katherine M.M. Lukela practices in all areas of family law to include divorce, post-divorce, paternity, temporary restraining orders, guardianships, adoptions, premarital agreements, and child custody and support.  Ms. Lukela is a graduate of Kamehameha Schools.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola Marymount University in 2006 and her Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law in 2010.

From 2013 to 2015, Ms. Lukela was a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the City and County of Honolulu. During her time as a prosecutor, she gained extensive litigation and felony jury trial experience.

Prior to working for the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney, from 2010 to 2013,  Ms. Lukela was a Law Clerk to the Honorable R. Mark Browning, Deputy Chief Judge and Senior Family Court Judge of Family Court of the First Circuit.

In 2015, Ms. Lukela joined Kleintop & Luria, LLP, a firm with a reputation throughout Hawai’i for excellence, professionalism, and the highest standards of integrity. There, Ms. Lukela’s work included handling divorce cases ranging from simple, uncontested matters to extremely complex cases involving extensive assets and complicated child custody issues.
