Zoe M. Hernandez
Associate Attorney
Zoe M. Hernandez is a family law attorney experienced in family law matters, including divorce, post-divorce, paternity, temporary restraining orders, child custody and child support, adoption, guardianship, and premarital agreements. She is a graduate of Punahou School and received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University. Ms. Hernandez went on to earn her Juris Doctor in 2021 from Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law.
During law school, Ms. Hernandez worked at various family law firms and nonprofit organizations in the Los Angeles area. She received several honors for her academic achievements, including the Bergstrom Child Welfare Law Fellowship, two CALI Excellence for the Future Awards, and the Dean's Excellence Scholarship. Ms. Hernandez also served as president of Pepperdine's Advocates for Youth student organization for two years.
Upon moving back to Hawaii, Ms. Hernandez continued to work on family law matters and joined Coates Frey & Hackett, AAL LLLC, where she handled a wide range of cases, including complex divorce matters involving high valued assets and business interests and challenging child custody issues. She continues to focus her practice on all areas of family law until today.
